Overview
The Master’s Degree Course in International Accounting and Management – IAMA (Class of Master’s Degrees in Economic-Business Sciences: LM-77) aims to convey to students in-depth knowledge in the economic-business, mathematical-statistical and legal fields, obtained through the combination of disciplines and methods of learning and acquisition of skills that allow them to address business problems from the integrated perspective of company management and change planning and management. The degree course aims to deepen this knowledge also through the use of the logics and techniques of quantitative analysis from an international and intercultural perspective.
This degree course is intended for graduates with a solid basic preparation in the economic and business disciplines who wish to deepen their knowledge in theoretical, methodological and operational perspectives.
Students will be trained on modern economic-managerial theories, concepts, techniques and applications with the aim of developing the ability to detect and analyze economic, social, legal, cultural and technological problems to allow adequate application of theoretical knowledge in the interpretation and settlement of specific issues.
Particular attention is paid to recent developments and major developments in the field of management in order to convey to students adequate skills relating to governance, management, organization and survey processes in the various types of companies operating in different sectors (public and private) both at the national and international grounds.
Objectives
The course intent is to train graduates that will be able to:
- assume roles of directional responsibility inside companies, organizations and institutions (in staff functions as well as in line management) which, in particular, operate at the supranational level;
- start an independent entrepreneurial activity, including that of the execution of the professions and activities of consulting (accounting and company) with a strong international vocation;
- assume roles of responsibility in institutional organisms (Chamber of Commerce, Associations of category, Local bodies, international organisations).

Career opportunities
The course provides adequate knowledge for placement in roles of directional responsibility within Public Administrations, Utilities and the non-profit sector.
In all these cases the subject can perform decision-making, management, coordination, management, data analysis and information functions.
The Course also prepares graduates to perform the functions of Auditor and Chartered Accountant.
