Mathematics is fundamental in all scientific fields, as well as in the design and development of new technologies. The degree program in Mathematics aims to prepare a professional profile able to understand and apply both the tools of traditional mathematics and those of more modern theories. It also offers basic knowledge of physics, computer science, statistical and computational methods used in the study of natural, social and economic phenomena.

The graduate, in addition to having the skills to fit well into the work context, can continue his university education with the master’s degree in Applied Mathematics at DIISM, or with any other master’s degree in mathematics or related subjects (for example, statistics or economics).
