Overview
This course trains environmental and naturalistic experts able to understand and face the environmental crisis that characterizes our planet. It provides the fundamental languages of scientific disciplines and the skills to recognize the value of natural heritage through the description of animal and plant biodiversity. It gives the tools for understanding the natural processes at the system level (communities, ecosystems, biomes, biosphere) and their modifications induced by human activities.
The naturalistic and more typically systemic skills of the environment will allow to develop the best skills for organizing and interpreting environmental monitoring, assessing the effects of degradation and pollution both locally and at the level of global changes.
