Overview

The Second Cycle Master’s Degree in Sustainable Industrial Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (SIPhaB) is dedicated to the biotech-pharma industrial sector, where Italy leads Europe in export and production and holds a global leadership position in innovative contracts.

To maintain this competitive edge, a paradigm shift in education is essential. This shift must integrate critical elements of socio-environmental-economic sustainability and address the profound digital transformation occurring in Health and Industry 4.0.

SIPhaB stands out as an innovative educational program that combines expertise in biochemistry with management and sustainable development knowledge. To effectively bridge theoretical knowledge and practical skills, SIPhaB has been co-designed with contributions from humanistic and economic departments, alongside our industrial partners.

The program emphasizes hands-on learning through internships, seminars, and webinars conducted in collaboration with the industrial and non-academic sectors, covering topics rarely addressed in traditional university programs.

We employ cutting-edge, immersive teaching methods that leverage industrial laboratories and foster the development of passion, curiosity, emotional intelligence, and teamwork—departing from the conventional focus on individual learning in university settings. SIPhaB offers a unique, integrated, and adaptable educational model designed to prepare students for the challenges of the modern industrial biotech-pharma landscape.
